Evolution in the tropics

My research is focused on understanding how new forms and species evolve, and the processes which then preserve them once they exist. This involves working at the intersection of evolution, ecology, and genetics, and covering the full spectrum of biological organization, from molecules to ecosystems. I address these questions using tropical insects and plants.
